I’m a Michigan native with a love for nature, poetry, food and knowledge. Growing up in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and experiencing what autumn smells like in the forest, or what winter sounds like by the lake shore left a love for true, untouched nature that few people are fortunate enough to experience in the world nowadays. It’s arisen as a general theme in a lot of the work that I do – both in writing and in photography.
Over the years, I’ve collected a number of beautiful shots, poems, and general moments shared amongst friends during travels. I’ve learned that steadfastly carrying a camera and notebook is the only way to capture some moments, and the others drift fleetingly into memory. In time, I hope to provide the lens for a momentary retreat into another world: one where nature and our hearts rule, where beauty runs rampant, and where the boundaries of senses become confused.
Hi Kriss! I’ll check that this afternoon when I get home from work, thanks for the heads up. I live on Collegewood Street in Ypsi
